Join us at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco on August 31st at 1:15 pm for a special "sneak peek" screening of the documentary film, "The Dawn is Too Far: Stories of Iranian-American Life." This film, co-directed and co-produced by Persis Karim and Soumyaa Behrens, is a project of the Center for Iranian Diaspora Studies, SF State, and shares the long history of Iranian Americans in the San Francisco Bay Area—their challenges and their resilience, as well as their love on community. The film screening will be followed by a discussion with Persis Karim.
