Poetry Reading with Saba Keramati and Armen Davoudian
Overview
We are pleased to present a poetry reading on April 14th with two Iranian-American poets who have strong Bay Area connections!
Armen Davoudian, who is a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University and Berkeley-born and raised Saba Keramati, will read from their newly-published collections of poetry at the Persian Center (2029 Durant Ave.) in Berkeley on Sunday, April 14th at 3 PM. Keramati will share poetry from "Self-Mythology" (University of Arkansas Press) and Davoudian will read poems from "The Palace of Forty Pillars" (Tin House Press). We are excited to hear them read and to celebrate the publication of their books.
Join us for an afternoon of fine poetry and refreshments with these two young poets. This event is co-sponsored by the Center, Diaspora Arts Connection, the Persian Center, and is supported with a grant from Poets & Writers magazine. This event is free and open to the public.
