Join us on October 30th, 4 PM (PT) for a lively and important conversation (on Zoom) with Dr. Firoozeh Kashani-Sabet about her new book, From Heroes to Hostages: America and Iran, 1800-1958 (Cambridge University Press, 2023).
Dr. Kashani-Sabet is Walter H. Annenberg Professor of History at the University of Pennsylvania and has written extensively on modern Iranian history, as well as on gender and politics in Iran. She will be in conversation with Dr. Ida Yalzadeh, assistant professor of history at Le High University, who has also written on US policy toward Iran in the 20th and 21st centuries.
